Developing Workplace Facilitation Skills for Productive Outcomes

Too often we have heard about the complaints and frustrations about meaningless meetings, irrelevant focus in project reviews, unresolved issues and problems during managerial discussions. Additionally, many other workplace sessions that require discussion to reach a consensus and obtain solutions.

 

Join this workshop to know more about how to facilitate meetings and discussions that guide and encourage individual and team participation, direct everyone to stay focused on the agenda and agree on a plan of action to achieve results.

  • Understand facilitation and the role of a facilitator when facilitating team development
  • Plan and prepare for a well facilitated and engaging session
  • Learn the facilitation techniques for team participation, engagement and reaching a consensus
  • Practice active listening and questioning techniques to constructively address disruptions from problematic behaviours or issues
  • Learn the strategies to respond to group dysfunction and get them back on track
  • Apply interventions methods to convert obstacles into opportunities

Learning methodologies

This is a practical, interactive and facilitative workshop. The methodologies include interactive lectures, group discussions, presentations, skill building exercises through role playing, self-reflection for action planning, and Peer/Team/Facilitator Assessment.

 

Group Size: preferably 12, up to 16 persons

 

Training Duration: ONE day, 9am-5pm
