We are often faced with workplace adversity, in the form of challenges and setbacks from an increasingly changing environment, working with difficult people, and pressure from a heavy workload. People with high resilience are likely to respond and manage difficult situations constructively.
The good news is resilience can be learned and improved at any stage of life. It helps individuals to become more optimistic and proactive, to turn adversity into opportunities, to be more confident to take on higher responsibilities and accountability in the roles they play, and to achieve positive outcomes and enjoy a more fulfilling life.
