With social media do you still need a Website?

Social media, blogging, search engine optimization and email marketing are powerful ways of developing online leads for most business. However your company’s website is where your prospect makes a buying decision and the sale actually takes place. Website is a window into your company. The Website must  provide compelling reason for the prospect to do business with you and get them to click “buy now” or pick up the telephone to call you. While an unprofessional website will derail the best web marketing campaign, a well-designed site is a powerful conversion tool that will continue to deliver high quality leads.

To be great, your Website must do four things: It must educate, inform, market and sell.

What is a good Website?

There are five elements of a great Website: Design,Structure, Content, Optimization and Maintenance.

Design: Look matter, first impressions count.  It needs to attract the visitor to stay on and browse the site.

Structure: The way you structure your Website navigation is crucial. The structure must guide the visitors through your Website whether they are ready to buy or those first time visitor.

Content: Content is the heart of every good Website. The first purpose is to educate and inform prospects and build expertise. This is why blogs are so heralded. A well written blog can help you to stand out from the rest of the competitor.

Optimization: A website may look beautiful but if it is poorly built then it may cause problem. Slow and takes time to load and it will turn away visitors.

Maintenance: Website needs to maintain regularly by adding new content and remove old issues. Broken links are not acceptable.
